• For bleeding of wounds, ulcers, and sores: prepare a wash, poultice, or tincture.

• For sprains and swellings: a topical liniment or infusion can be applied directly to sprains and swellings.

• For gum bleeding, inflammation, and dental abscess: use a mouth rinse from an infusion or tincture.

• For excessive bleeding (wounds or menstrual): ingest tea or tincture and apply topical for external bleeding.

• For asthma: prepare a steam inhalation.

• For the antiviral properties: use a tincture, infusion, poultice, or diluted essential oil topically for cold sores.

• For anti-lactation, to dry up milk after nursing: prepare a topical poultice.

• For bloating and indigestion: prepare a carminative tea or ingest the tincture.

• For sinus congestion: prepare a steam inhalation using the infused herb or drops of essential oil in a basin of hot water.

• For symptoms of excessive sweating: use an infusion applied topically in deodorant and ingested internally.
